Q.
Why did you decide to study in Japan?
A.
I was interested in art, food and pop in Japan and also the Japanese lifestyle. Due to this, it was always a dream to study in Soka University.
Q.
What was your best experience while studying in Japan?
A.
II learned so much actually! Specially about cultural differences, how what is true for me can be totally different for others, and how to be tolerant. Watching the Japanese society I learned about respect, kindness, and the sense of being part of a group.
Q.
Through this experience, what did you learn?
A.
I think it was the festival in my university. Not only the festival itself, but also the preparations for it because I was able to push myself to the limit and make lots of friendships while having fun. It was an experience that I could only have here in Japan.
Q.
What kind of person should come to Japan for study abroad?
A.
There is no specific kind of person, but when you come you should have some expectations very well defined and be opened to accept cultural differences. Also, someone who has passion to discover a new way of living and that can adapt into this community without losing yourself.
Q.
What advice can you give to those who are thinking of studying in Japan?
A.
Try to learn a little bit of Japanese before coming and also don’t be carried away by bad impulses, because it is something natural in any study abroad, and after this you can have a great experience!
