Why did you decide to study in Japan?
A.
I wanted to study at Soka University. Though I am half- Japanese, I have never spoken Japanese so I wanted to speak Japanese and know about Japanese culture.
Q.
What was your best experience while studying in Japan?
A.
My best moment was to travel. Because I have traveled to Enoshima alone and it was my challenge to speak my Japanese language and live alone. Also, I could feel this travel makes me relaxed and I could have a peaceful mind.
Q.
Through this experience, what did you learn?
A.
I could learn how to speak the Japanese language and Japanese culture. Also, I could feel Japan is a unique country because they are really polite to other people, they follow the rule, and they keep their traditional cultures like traditional clothes (Kimono, Yukata), traditional living style.
Q.
What kind of person should come to Japan to study abroad?
A.
I would like to say that people who are interested in Japanese culture, can understand the differences in culture, and can speak the Japanese language should come to Japan.
Q.
What advice can you give to those who are thinking of studying in Japan?
A.
I recommend them to learn the basic Japanese language. Also, to understand the differences in culture and character Japanese have, they have to practice for being an open mind. Lastly, I would like to recommend them to be ready to adjust the way of living and culture.
