Q.
Why did you decide to study in Japan?
A.
It became my childhood dream to study in Japan after watching “Oshin” teledrama. “Oshin” taught me several aspects of Japanese culture and people which made me amazed and excited to continue my higher studies in Japan. Language was a challenge in the beginning, however; my enthusiasm to learn Japanese made it easier to get basic communication skills quicker than I expected.
Q.
What can international students enjoy in Japan other than studying?
A.
Apart from studies there are many activities to engage in Japan. Working part time, travelling and shopping are my favorites. I basically depend on my part time work salary and whenever I get a vacation I don’t forget to travel around Japan while doing shopping. So far, I have been to Nagano, Sapporo, Kyoto and Shizuoka. Best experience was the trip to Hokkaido since I could visit amazing flower farms, blue water lake and enjoy Sapporo ramen.
Q.
What advice can you give to those who are thinking of studying in Japan?
A.
One advice I would like to give those who willing to study in Japan is, not give up life in Japan due to language issues. Make learning a hobby you will learn it without any hassle.
Q.
From 1 to 10 what is your satisfaction rate so far in Japan as an international student?
A.
From 1 to 10, I would like to rate Japan 10 since I have fallen in love with this amazing country.
