Q.
Why did you decide to study in Japan?
A.
I made a Japanese friend in my University and learned more about the Japanese culture. From there. I decided to make Japan as one of my top choices for the exchange student program.
Q.
What was your best experience while studying in Japan?
A.
Most of my best moments in Japan revolves around travelling. I travelled to Osaka, Hokkaido, Nara, and more. My favorite one was the one in Kawaguchiko Lake during Lavender season when my siblings visited me.
Q.
Through this experience, what did you learn?
A.
I learned how to be more independent, all by myself. I did my first part-time job in Japan. About Japan, I learned both pros and cons. Pros can be like transportation is very easy and accurate on time and very clean. Cons are people can be too shy sometimes and I felt like Japanese people work too much.
Q.
What kind of person should come to Japan for study abroad?
A.
I feel like everybody should have the chance to come and visit Japan. You never know what you like until you try.
Q.
What advice can you give to those who are thinking of studying in Japan?
A.
I recommend make Japanese friends, try all kinds of Japanese foods, and explore different cultural activities such as tea ceremonies. I also recommend learning the language and culture. It's very fun!
